Abstract

One of the government’s SDGs programs is the education program, which includes computer education and training. This program aims to increase the knowledge and insight of the community, especially among children. This is because children are just beginning to get acquainted with the digital world, so it is expected that they can use it for positive and beneficial purposes. Through digital media, people can more easily find any information they need. The capability of digital media in this era greatly facilitates the public in obtaining information and comparing various sources of news and information. The problem faced by students at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Darul Hikmah is their limited knowledge regarding letter writing, particularly in creating interesting and varied personal letters using basic word-processing applications. The expected outcomes include the publication of an article in electronic media or on national websites, as well as increasing the knowledge of the audience or community service participants. Based on these findings, it is necessary to conduct a letter-writing training using MS Word for the students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Darul Hikmah. This training is expected to provide knowledge related to basic computer education and the use of the MS Word application for the students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Darul Hikmah.
